MASS PLANNED AT RARELY OPEN CHURCH
Parishioners and the public have an opportunity to attend Mass in the rarely open Most Holy Trinity Church in Mamaroneck.

The Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, to celebrate the anniversary of the dedication of the church. It's one of two public Masses held in the church each year.

The church opened in 1885. Regular services ended in 2015 after Most Holy Trinity and St. Vito's parishes merged. In 2018, Most Holy Trinity was ordered to be permanently closed, but a group of the Roman Catholic church's parishioners successfully appealed to the Vatican, and now two public Masses are celebrated there each year.

The church is at 320 East Boston Post Road.

The Most Holy Trinity school buildings now serve as one of the campuses of the French American School.

As costs nationwide continue to rise, County Executive George Latimer is pleased to announced measures taken by the County to ease the burden facing County residents’ wallets.
