Urgent Support Needed for Local Flood Victims
In the wake of Hurricane Ida, Mamaroneck residents and business owners are once again devastated by severe flooding. The storm hit the Sound Shore community Wednesday night with torrential rains and a downpour of 3 inches per hour. Homeowners and businesses in The Flats (Washingtonville) area of Mamaroneck were deeply affected. Some areas were engulfed with 5-8 feet of water destroying business, homes, and leaving residents with nothing.
