We pride ourselves in capturing highlights and important stories of the Sound Shore community (and sometimes our neighboring communities), but now we want to see it from your lens.
Join our photography challenge this month- 25 days of 25 prompts showcasing all the amazing things that make your community shine.
Professional photography not necessary- all you need to do is submit your daily picture on Facebook or Instagram by tagging us and using the hashtag, #ThroughOurLens.
Submissions will be collected and shared by us- and one random, lucky winner will be receiving LMC swag, plus a $50 giftcard from MADE Art Studio in Mamaroneck!

The Mamaroneck Historical Society is seeking the support of Mamaroneck Chamber of Commerce in their effort to remove the James Fenimore Cooper Murals from Mamaroneck High School walls and reinstall them at public sites in our community.
Public art generates excitement, leading to increased foot traffic, which benefits surrounding businesses. In 1934, students envisioned an installation of public art to enhance the school cafeteria. After seven years of planning, fundraising and painting the eight murals were installed. The murals focus on the life and novels of Mamaroneck resident James Fenimore Cooper. The Historical Society encourages you to visit their website to learn more about the history of these murals as well as how you can help save these works of art.

☘️ The Sound Shore St. Patrick’s Day Parade is back! Please join the Sound Shore St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee at 1:30 pm on Sunday, March 20th, 2022, as they proudly march down Mamaroneck Avenue in Mamaroneck, NY, once again. Due to the postponement of both the 2020 and 2021 parades, this year’s event will feature Co-Grand Marshals: Kate Bialo and Joe Durney. The parade will also feature LMC Media’s very own Matt Sullivan as Master of Ceremonies!
The focus of the parade is to promote Irish heritage and the American immigrant experience in the Sound Shore community, as well as to provide college scholarships to local students. The goal each year will be to produce a quality family event that celebrates the great contributions of Irish and other American Immigrant Heritage in the Sound Shore area. ☘️
