On Wednesday, May 25, LMCTV hosted its 26th Annual Award Night at the David Potts, Jr. VFW Post 1156.  LMCTV wishes to thank its co-sponsors for the event: Mamaroneck Self Storage and Nuway Air Conditioning & Heating.  We also wish to thank United Stage Associates for providing the lighting for the evening.  Please find a list below of all nominees, with winners marked in bold.  Congratulations to all of our nominees and award recipients.  Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a special evening, including the Town of Mamaroneck and VFW Post 1156.

BASED ON THE BOOK:

A STOP MOTION LEGO WORKSHOP

 

Tuesdays July 5th–August 16th

4:00-6:00 pm

Registration Begins Monday June 13th

Open to Ages 10 -14

Script based on a book that all participants must read before the first workshop.

Using the Program ISTOPMOTION children will create LEGO scenes based on the book and write and act out voice over narrative. Students will learn how to storyboard, design and shoot for stop motion. LMCTV cameras, microphones and editing stations will be utilized.

Sign Up Today For LMCTV's Teen Summer Filmmaking Workshops!

Make a movie at LMCTV this summer.

Geared for young people 13 and up, LMCTV’s summer filmmaking workshops are an opportunity to learn hands-on video and filmmaking skills. From script writing, to cinematography, to computer video editing and more, participants will write, shoot, direct, act and edit their own movie! Each workshop is held Monday through Friday from 10am-3pm for three weeks at LMCTV’s Studio 2, located at 145 Library Lane, Mamaroneck, NY 10543.
Workshop I runs from July 5 -July 22 (no class on July 4) and Workshop II from July 25 – August 12.
Led by independent filmmaker and LMCTV staff member Dena Schumacher, the workshop is in its sixteenth year. Open enrollment starts now. Space is limited so please visit www.lmctv.org or call Matt Sullivan at 914-381-2002 ext. 202 to sign up today.

LMCTV ANNOUNCES 18-GAME SPRING SPORTS BROADCAST SCHEDULE

MAMARONECK, New York (March 17, 2016) – LMCTV announces an 18-game broadcast schedule of spring varsity sports at Mamaroneck High School and Rye Neck High School as part of its LMC Varsity Sports programming.
LMCTV will broadcast three games of the defending New York State Class AA Champion Mamaroneck Baseball team, including a matchup with Class A powerhouse Eastchester airing the weekend of April 8. They will also face Fox Lane and rival Scarsdale in front of the LMCTV cameras (Check below for full schedule).
The schedule includes three games with the defending Section 1 Class B Champion Rye Neck Softball team, against Briarcliff (April 15) and both ends of their tournament (May 13). LMC Varsity Sports will also be present for two Rye Neck Baseball games.
LMCTV will also cover two games of the defending Section 1 Class A Champion Mamaroneck Boys Lacrosse team, including a matchup against perennial contender Lakeland/Panas (April 15), and two games each of the Mamaroneck Girls Lacrosse, Mamaroneck Softball, Rye Neck Boys Lacrosse, and Rye Neck Girls Lacrosse teams.
Fans can watch all games broadcasted by LMC Varsity Sports by utilizing the Watch Now feature on our website (www.LMCTV.org), which also includes an up-to-date schedule, with information on air dates and times for all televised games.

We Walk Together is a multi-faith service to honor victims of religious extremism around the world. The event was preceded by a march from Mamaroneck Harbor to the synagogue and featured prayers, remarks, music and a time for reflection and healing.
