Matching Donations

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, contact your Human Resources office to find out if such a program exists at your company.

Donate Through IRA

Did you know that money from an individual retirement account (IRA) can be donated to a charity, like LMC Media? What’s more, if you’ve reached the age where you need to take required minimum distributions (RMDs) from your traditional IRAs, you can avoid paying taxes on them by donating that money to charity. Contact your IRA custodian (or “Fund Manager”) and let them know you want to make a charitable roller gift to LMC Media. Please ask the Fund Manager to include your name on the distribution check.

LMC Media’s expansive programming reflects its multi-faceted role in the Larchmont-Mamaroneck community. It is a vital source for municipal and community news, a valued educational resource for media training and literacy, and a powerful platform for self-expression, storytelling, and community building. LMC Media creates a public square where residents can be heard – and can hear each other. With more and more households “cutting the cord” cable franchise fees, our main source of revenue, is diminishing. We rely on donations to provide all the funds we need to continue our services to the community without interruption.
