" 'The In-Between' is a film that is supposed to capture the strange purgatory that is senior year. Feeling like you are stuck between your future and the draining, repetitive motions that you’ve been going through since childhood, is an incredibly specific situation—and one that my classmates and I are currently experiencing. I hope the film captures this “in-between” feeling well, and conveys a sense of hopefulness for the future and pride for having come this far. Additionally, I wanted to use this film to talk about the immense difficulty that comes along with growing apart from a friend that you thought you would know forever. Growing up and growing apart is something that happens to everyone as they exit high school, but that doesn’t make it any less sad, or any less difficult to grapple with. "

Bringing our communities together to explore the life and work of Lorraine Hansberry: Radical Artist and Activist
Join CURE for the events built around Radical Vision: A Biography of Lorraine Hansberry by Soyica Diggs Colbert.
The first event is at the Croton Library on 2/11 at 2 pm with a visit from Dr. Colbert. CURE will then continue to explore through theater, writing, and art in the spirit of Ms. Hansberry.
