LMCTV Welcomes our new Her Honor Mentee

LMCTV would like to welcome our new Her Honor Mentee, SaRai Wright, a senior at Mamaroneck High School. SaRai is very excited to start working and learning with her mentor Christina Carino Forrest.
Her Honor Mentoring uses practical skills to help young women realize that a life full of promise is achieved by structured framework for growth, as well as learning. Her Honor pairs these young women with mentors from different types of professions, including but not limited to medicine, tv production, and law. These mentees go to their mentor’s workplace 4 hours a week after school to work as apprentices in their mentor’s job. Mentees attend life skill workshops monthly, which cover important topics such as financial planning and speaking with distinction, appropriate business attire, building your brand, social savvy, and well being and healthy relationships. These workshops enhance practical skills and help to expose these mentees to professional tracks and possibilities. Although every single mentee might not have a mentor who works in the career field that they are interested in, they get a chance to branch out and see what else is out there for them in the world. This program helps to support young women in Westchester County, utilizing unique curricula and tools.

Similarly, an independent candidate for the aforementioned offices may produce one program due Tuesday, October 17th.

Tuesday, September 26th

First “Meet the Candidates” program for local elections due by 10am at LMCTV Headquarters, 740 W.
