LMCTV “BEST OF” SPORTS RE-BROADCAST SCHEDULE BEGINS JUNE 3

MAMARONECK, New York (June 1, 2016) – LMCTV announces a thirteen-week, 19-game re-broadcast schedule of games televised during the 2015-2016 academic year at both Mamaroneck and Rye Neck High Schools.
The schedule consists of highlighted games, many of which went down to the final minutes — and final seconds — creating some of the most memorable moments of the year for Panthers and Tigers fans.
The action gets underway the weekend of June 3, with two tight field hockey contests from Rye Neck High School.
The series will wrap up the weekend of August 26 with both of Mamaroneck’s sectional playoff victories against Mahopac (boys lacrosse and baseball).
Tiger fans can also relive the ice hockey team’s thrilling run to their first-ever state championship with close wins over Scarsdale and West Genesee, airing the weekend of July 22.
Mamaroneck fans have another state championship to celebrate as well. The Tigers Field Hockey team takes home the hardware in stunning fashion the weekend of June 24.
The winter season’s two best basketball games will be on display on back-to-back weekends, July 1 and July 8. First, the Panthers nail a 3-pointer as time expires in overtime to secure a win over MLK.  Then, the Tigers come out on top in a double-overtime battle against Rye in the championship game of the 2016 Tiger Tournament.
The schedule includes five Section 1 playoff games and two NYSPHSAA playoff contests, including postseason competition in boys soccer, field hockey, ice hockey, softball, boys lacrosse, and baseball.
Fans can watch every game LMCTV Varsity Sports televised this year on LMCTV’s “Videos” section online at www.LMCTV.org. Fans can also request DVD copies of all televised games by calling 914-381-2002, ext. 0.
