Community Media Day is a national event to celebrate media awareness every October 20th. Every year we have encouraged our community to come and see first hand all of the incredible things we offer but with the Coronavirus Pandemic still posing a threat, we are unable to open our doors to the public yet.
This year we are highlighting all of the things that we have already accomplished, especially during these troubling times, where communication is key. Remember, none of this would be possible without the generous contributions of our donors and of course the Larchmont and Mamaroneck communities. We hope that 2021 will bring great changes and new opportunities!

In light of the current COVID-19/Coronavirus situation, we at LMC Media are taking as many precautions as possible to keep our staff, volunteers, producers, and general members safe.
In doing so, LMC has immediately implemented the following changes until further notice:
LMC has placed a temporary hold on all equipment loans/rentals as of 3/10/2020. All producers with loans or rentals will be notified that their reservations have been canceled for the immediate future.
Studio bookings for at least the next week have been postponed or canceled until otherwise noted.
All birthday parties and/or group visits have been canceled until further notice.
All field shoots will be placed on hold until further notice. This DOES NOT include municipal and school board meetings which will continue to be recorded unless canceled by the district or municipality.
LMC kindly asks that all appointments and/or requests are made via email with one of our staff members. Requests can be directed to the appropriate staff as listed HERE.
In an abundance of caution for the health and well being of our staff, volunteers, and producers, LMC offices will be closed for an undetermined amount of time; however staff will still be available by email and checking messages during LMC’s normal hours of operation. LMC will be updating this post if there are any changes to the above policy or any other closures in the coming weeks.
Management and the LMC Board of Directors will keep a close eye on any developments and make any necessary changes to these temporary policies as necessary to protect the health and well being of staff, volunteers, and producers. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Repair Café Town of Mamaroneck is a neighborhood initiative that promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. Residents of Larchmont/Mamaroneck can bring their broken items to fix them on the spot with the help of voluntary repairers.
Repair Café Town of Mamaroneck is looking for residents with different skills who can be present as repair experts during the Repair Café. We are especially looking for people who are handy with:
…and who enjoy sharing their knowledge with their neighbors. In addition, we are also looking for people who wish to fulfill the role of host / hostess at the meetings. You provide coffee and tea, welcome visitors and serve as a contact point for both visitors and repairers in the Repair Café.
Every Monday in February, enjoy Sedona’s $8 Flat Iron Steak and $2 will go towards supporting LMCTV. Beverage purchase required. Dine in only. Limit 1 per person.
The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions are partnering with the Sedona Steak Out for Charity in February in support of LMCTV, dollar for dollar up to $1,000.
